3.) Setup TeeCal Server Network Share Needed For TeeCal Client Connectivity

NOTE: These steps need to be performed on the TeeCal server.

Setup TeeCal Folder Security/Permissions
  1. Locate the installation folder where TeeCal is installed. 
    Default path is C:\Program Files (x86)|TeeCal\ but you may have chosen to install to a different folder.
    Go to My Computer
    Click Local Disk C:\ Drive
    Click Program Files (if on a 32 bit machine)
    Click Program Files (x86) (if you are on a 64 bit machine)
    Locate the TeeCal folder
  2. Right click the TeeCal folder and click Properties
  3. Click the Security tab (located at the top)
  4. Click Edit,
    Now click Add
  5. Type “Everyone” (without quotes as seen below)
    Now click OK
  6. Now select the newly added user called Everyone (as seen below)
    Check the Modify checkbox (as seen below)
    Now click Apply and then OK



Setup TeeCal Share
  1. Go to My Computer
    Click Local Disk C:\ Drive
    Click Program Files (if on a 32 bit machine)
    Click Program Files (x86) (if you are on a 64 bit machine)
    Locate the TeeCal folder
  2. Right click the TeeCal folder and click Properties
  3. Click the Sharing tab (located at the top)
    Click Advanced Sharing
  4. Check the Share this folder checkbox option
    Type TeeCal in the Share name field
    Set Limit the number of simultaneous users to 10 (or the highest number available)
  5. Set Share Permissions
    Click
    the Permissions button
    Verify that the user Everyone is listed in the "Group or User Name" area.
            If Everyone is not listed under the “Group or user names” then click Add and then enter the name Everyone and click OK
    Click the user Everyone
    Check all
    check boxes under Allow column (should match screenshot below)
    Uncheck all check boxes under Deny column (should match screenshot below)
    Click Apply and OK
  6. Set Offline Caching Settings
    Click the Caching button
    Click the Files or programs from the share will not be available offline option (should match screenshot below)
    Click OK
  7. Locate and document the network path to your TeeCal folder.  This step is very important since this path will be used to  connect TeeCal clients to the TeeCal server in network mode. Once you completed the offline cache settings in the previous step you should now see the Share tab of the TeeCal Properties window.
    At the top of that screen you should see a Network Path listed within the Network File and Folder Sharing area.
    Document the Network Path for future use (indicated in the screenshot below).
  8. Verify the TeeCal share is accessible from other computers by completing the following instructions on the client computers.
    Click Start
    Click Run (or hold the windows button and the letter R to open the Run)
    Type the network path documented in the previous step 7 above (ex. \\Server\TeeCal).
    If the share is configured correctly it should load up the share folder in a windows explorer window with the TeeCal server files within it.  This is verification that your TeeCal server share is configured and ready to connect TeeCal client computers.
